Almost every shutter complaint traces back to the order rather than to the product. Ten recurring ones, roughly in order of what they cost.

Buying on headline price, which buys a thinner slat and a smaller motor together. Not establishing the door type before pricing it. Sizing the operator on opening area instead of weighed curtain mass. Leaving out the back-up, then discovering what a powered door does in a power cut. Mixing slat, guide and operator from different suppliers, so nothing was tested against anything.

Then the ones that surface later. No allowance for the duty cycle the door will actually see. Guides fixed into a substrate that will not hold them. No maintenance plan, so the first service call is also the first inspection. A finish chosen without reference to the environment. And an order placed without the installation drawing, so the opening and the door are measured twice by two people who never spoke.
